These ear studs are made from Sterling silver. The metal is carefully textured before it is shaped and folded. The ear stud front is a folded oval piece of silver. The inside of the fold is partially overlaid with 24 ct yellow gold foil. This is done in the ancient Korean technique of Keum-Boo which is the heat-bonding 24ct gold foil to silver. The ear studs are of course supplied with silver ear screws and the ear studs come in 2 sizes:
